Hey this is my blog!

I'm Anthony Alston, this is my blog that I started for a news reporting class. This is my first blog site so I really don't know what to write about. I can write a little more about me however. I am a communications student currently attending Kennesaw State University in Kennesaw, Ga. My passions include film and music. There have been multiple films that have made an everlasting impression on me throughout my life. Close Encounters of the Third Kind and Night of the Living Dead are among the many movies that has inspired me to pursue a career in film. Likewise, there are many musicians that have inspired me to devote time to music. Mostly hip hop artists have been my primary motivation for this interests including but not limited to Lil' Wayne, Jay-Z, Nas, Eminem and many independent artists.

When I am not working, going to school or taking care of my kids I enjoy playing online games through X-Box Live. When I'm fortunate enough to get out of the house for leisure I may go shooting at a local gun range. I also have a passion for photography as it is very similar to creating video. I enjoy the editing process of film production and I have shot a few short films and several music videos. I also enjoy spending time in music recording studios, of any capacity, and creating new music. My first passion concerning the arts would be sketching and drawing. I have created about 40 full comic books in the span of 3 years of my high school career. Other activities I enjoy include football, basketball and paintball.
